Barr Reeve Schools has a new superintendent. Andrea Huff was approved to take over the position held by Dr. Travis Madison for the past 12 years. Madison resigned to accept a new position with the New Albany School Corporation after working with Barr Reeve Schools for the past 21 years. Huff will be the 12th superintendent in place since the school began in 1964. She has been working alongside Madison for the past few years, and the transition has been smooth, according to officials with the school. Huff’s official first day was July 1st. The board welcomed Huff at their meeting on Friday, expressed appreciation and gratitude, and presented a plaque to Dr. Madison for his years of service to Viking Country.
