Knox County welcomes Matt Holden as its newly appointed County Highway Superintendent and Engineer. Yesterday, the Knox County Commissioners officially hired Holden to succeed the recently retired Benji Boyd. Holden brings valuable experience to his new role, having previously served as the County Engineer in Gibson County. Among the candidates who applied for the position, Holden stood out as the most qualified, meeting the engineering qualifications set forth by County Commissioner Trent Hinkle. July 17th will mark Holden’s first day on the job.
