The Loogootee Beautification Board received news this week that they have been awarded a grant for a new mural on the wall at Hometown Flowers and Gifts.
Work has already begun on the base, and the mural should start soon.
Washington just recently finished a similar mural in their downtown district by artist Barb Stahl.
This will brighten up the downtown Loogootee area.
