A Vanderburgh County man, Benjamin Jacob Seger, 24, was arrested on Tuesday, August 1, for possession and dissemination of child pornography, among other charges. The arrest came after an investigation by the Indiana State Police’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force in Evansville. The tip indicated that Seger’s account was allegedly involved in transmitting child pornography images or videos. On March 30, members of the Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and Indiana State Police executed the search warrant at Seger’s address in Evansville. Seger faces several charges, including possession of child pornography involving children under 12 and under 18, as well as vicarious sexual gratification and child solicitation. He was taken into custody without incident and is currently held at the Vanderburgh County jail.
