The Jasper Police Department expressed their gratitude to the American Legion Post 147 for their kind donation of two brand new E-bikes. These bikes will replace two of the department’s patrol bikes, which have been in service since 1996. The six JPD bike patrol officers will utilize the new bikes during upcoming events like Strassenfest and other community gatherings throughout the year. The officers plan to conduct increased patrols in areas such as the Riverwalk, Parklands, and other locations inaccessible by patrol cars.
