Widespread damage and power outages appeared to be what was left behind after late-night storms came through our area. Martin County reported minor damage and a house fire, with no reports of injuries to the homeowner. Some of the neighboring counties are dealing with a little more damage and have lost a lot of the power grid to trees, and there are reports of structures being lost. Authorities ask that you remain patient, as it will likely take time to clean up today.
