Warmer Weekend Forecasted for Indiana

national-weather-service

Hoosiers can expect a warm weekend ahead, with temperatures set to rise into the upper 80s by Saturday and even climb into the lower 90s by Sunday, according to Cody Moore, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Indianapolis. While temperatures are increasing, Moore assures residents that there’s no cause for concern regarding critical heat index values. The humidity levels will not reach the heights seen last week, when the heat index occasionally exceeded 105 to 110. Moore predicts that this warm weather pattern will persist beyond Labor Day and well into the following week. Travelers across Indiana and the Midwest should prepare for the heat. Rain chances are minimal, with only a 15% to 20% probability expected on Wednesday or Thursday.
