On September 24, Washington Police Department officers, during their 2nd shift, arrested 37-year-old Christopher Morrison following a physical altercation earlier in the evening. Morrison was found at a Jersey St. residence and apprehended without resistance. Officers discovered approximately 12 grams of crystal methamphetamine, along with items related to narcotics distribution, paraphernalia, and syringes, in Morrison’s possession. He now faces charges of Battery Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury and Dealing Methamphetamine.

On the same day, deputies conducted a traffic stop at Southview Trailer Court. During the stop, they seized about a quarter ounce of methamphetamine, marijuana, and controlled substance pills. Consequently, 43-year-old Kenneth Deininger Jr. and 46-year-old Justina Walls were arrested on charges of conspiracy to deal methamphetamine. Detectives obtained a search warrant for Deininger’s trailer, where they uncovered a handgun, Methamphetamine, a marijuana grow, controlled substance pills, paraphernalia, and syringes. Deininger now faces additional charges of unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon, while 54-year-old Clifford Morse has been arrested for possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a common nuisance. It’s important to note that these incidents were unrelated, and all individuals are considered innocent until proven guilty.
