Yesterday, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo unveiled that the Economic Development Administration will grant $2.2 million to the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute. This funding will support the construction of a new training facility, complete with laboratories, offices, and engineering development suites for mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines. The EDA’s investment, matched with $6.6 million in local resources, is projected to generate 250 job opportunities and stimulate $2 million in private investment, based on estimates provided by the grantee.
