Knox County: On the evening of September 26, around 7:51 p.m., a high-speed pursuit unfolded when Trooper Blake Marsee initiated a traffic stop for a 2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser without headlights on 2nd Street and Executive Blvd. in Vincennes. The driver provided false identity information during the stop and abruptly fled before its completion. The driver, later identified as Robert Biehl, a 59-year-old from Bridgeport, IL, refused to comply and continued north on US 41, then proceeded north on Old 41 towards Oaktown. Eventually, Biehl stopped at a friend’s residence in Oaktown and was apprehended without further resistance. Further investigation revealed that Biehl had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in Lawrence County, IL. Consequently, Biehl was arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail, where he is currently held without bond.
