Reports have been received regarding scam emails, allegedly from cityparking@Transportation.com, claiming parking violations around the city square in Jasper. The fraudulent email includes a QR code for further information and payments. Do not scan the QR code or click on any links in the email. It’s important to note that the City of Jasper does not use electronic payments for parking tickets. Payments should only be made through traditional methods, such as by mail or in person.
