Washington Hatchet Boys Basketball Coach Gene Miiller received a big honor prior to last night’s homecoming game. The Hall of Fame coach was given the John Wooden Legacy Award by the National High School Basketball Coach’s Association. The award is presented annually to one boy and one girl basketball coach in each state. The Hatchet Coach is currently in his 49th season coaching high school basketball. Congratulations to Coach Miiller for this special honor.
