Bicknell is gearing up for the construction of its new street department building, scheduled to kick off in the next month.
The site, located on White River Avenue behind the recycling center, aims to address the city’s growing needs.
The mayor stated that the current space is no longer sufficient and a new, modernized building is necessary for community development.
Funding for the majority of the project will be sourced from the American Rescue Plan Act.
The construction is projected to conclude by September.
