Danny L. Clark, 74, of Loogootee, passed away at 5:17 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at his home.
He was born March 8th, 1949 in Raglesville, Indiana to the late Albert O. Clark and Esther (Kelsey) Nicholson.
Danny married Goldie Robbins on July 17, 1968 and she preceded him in death on July 21, 2017.
He was a member of the Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church, where he was a church board member for many years. He loved to sit on his front porch and play with his great-grandchildren. Danny also loved to watch his grandson wrestle, whether he could attend in person or watch online. He enjoyed collecting diecast cars. Danny never met a stranger that he didn’t enjoy a good conversation with.
Danny was preceded in death by his wife, Goldie Clark; parents, Albert O. Clark and Esther Nicholson; siblings, John Clark, William Clark, Thelma Hudson, and Hazel Ping.
He is survived by his children, Danny R. (Sheila) Clark, Tammy Clark, and Cindy Clark, all of Loogootee; grandchildren, Jessica (Mark) Potts, Jennifer (Travis) Inman, Justin Clark, and Trenton Clark; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Cathy Spears of Odon and Laura (Mark) Robertson of Loogootee; several stepsiblings and two sister-in-law.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Caleb Moffatt at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church in Loogootee. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 8, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee and Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
