Update on School Bomb Threat: Progress has been made in the investigation of the bomb threat at South Knox Middle/High School on March 1st. The Knox County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with the Knox County High Tech Crime Unit, has identified two juveniles connected to the threat. One juvenile is a local resident, while the other is believed to be from out of state. Specific details and identifications are not being released at this time for their protection. Knox County Sheriff’s Office detectives are working with out-of-state authorities to apprehend the second juvenile.
