Indiana State Police Jasper Post-February Activity Results: In February, troopers conducted saturation patrols focusing on traffic safety and criminal activity.
They conducted 68 special patrols targeting specific violations.
Lieutenant Jason Allen, District 34 Commander, noted that troopers worked extra shifts and days off to increase patrol presence.
The efforts led to 2316 traffic contacts, including warnings and tickets, 18 arrests for Operating While Intoxicated, and 92 criminal defendants with 279 arrests.
