Martin County is working to bring the Dolly Parton Imagination Library to its children, offering one free book a month for kids from birth to age 5. To support this initiative, donations can be made at the annual dinner or by mail to the Martin County Alliance for Economic Growth.
The Martin County Alliance for Economic Growth and the Martin County Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner is set for tonight at the St. John’s Center Lower Level in Loogootee. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the meal will be provided by Carla’s Catering, with entertainment provided by mentalist Daniel Cullen. Tickets can be purchased at the local banks or the Chamber Office, and they are 25 dollars.
