The search for 18-year-old Carson Hughes, reported missing at Versailles State Park, came to a heartbreaking conclusion on Sunday when his body was discovered in the park’s lake. Hughes had been reported missing on Friday afternoon, prompting a search effort involving over 150 volunteers from the Ripley County, Indiana, EMA. His vehicle was found unlocked with keys inside near the boat ramp, and his kayak was located on the water nearby. The Indiana Department of Natural Resources confirmed the discovery of Hughes’ body on Sunday.
