Washington City Police were busy investigating an incident on Mill Street on Friday. The investigation is ongoing, but one person is in custody after firing shots. When officers arrived, the subject barricaded himself inside a building and would not come out. After several failed attempts, gas was deployed, and the subject came out without incident. The area was secured, with no threat of danger. 46-year-old Ryan D. Miller was arrested and charged with criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon. No bond was set.
