Five Tornadoes Confirmed in Tristate Area, More Possible as Surveys Continue

The National Weather Service has confirmed two more tornadoes hit the tristate area yesterday, bringing the total to five. Surveys are ongoing, and more tornadoes may be added. The confirmed tornadoes include:
An EF-0 in Martin County, near Dover Hill with 85 mph winds, occurred around 7:20 p.m. northwest of Shoals. It was on the ground for less than two miles and lasted only a few minutes.
An EF-2 with 118 mph winds from N. Poseyville to Johnson.
An EF-1 with 100 mph winds just west of Patoka.
An EF-3 in Mount Vernon, with 140 mph winds.
An EF-1 in Grove Center, Union County, Kentucky, with 105 mph winds.
