This week, base asphalt was installed from Emison Avenue to the Kelso Creek bridge in the ongoing Washington Avenue project in Vincennes. Although this marks a significant milestone, the road remains closed to traffic. Construction equipment is positioned to block vehicle passage at this time. Next week, a sub-contractor will slip-form the curb and gutter throughout the project area, a process expected to take three days. Following this, Kern’s Excavating will begin driveway installations. The project is on track for completion in November. Residents are reminded to observe road closures and detours for their safety.
