The Jasper Police Department arrested 38-year-old Brandon Casey on multiple charges related to motor vehicle theft. On July 31, at 7:10 PM, police received a report of a stolen vehicle from 3580 N Bart Lane in Jasper. Officers located the vehicle and Casey at Memorial Hospital. The vehicle was returned to its registered owners. Casey was charged with Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Unauthorized Entry of a Motor Vehicle, Criminal Conversion, Criminal Mischief, Reckless Driving, and Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Ever Receiving a License. He was transported and lodged in the Dubois County Security Center.
