Our Community Foundation has announced the first of two Teaching Innovator grant recipients at North Daviess Community Schools. Jasmine Spore, an educator at North Daviess Junior/Senior High School, was awarded a $250 grant for an advanced density manipulation set. During the presentation, Spore was also named a Foundation Teaching Innovator. The advanced density calculation equipment will help students develop skills in the metric system and identifying unknown properties, which are crucial for any science-related fieldwork.
