Indiana celebrated the official completion of I-69 yesterday. Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb, along with Mitch Daniels and Mike Pence, were in attendance. With the opening of the final interchange, I-69 now runs continuously from the Canadian border at Port Huron, Michigan, to Evansville. Some of the remaining work will be on I-465 between I-65 and I-70 on the southwest side of Indianapolis. When completed, an additional lane of traffic will be added for travel in both directions. A big crowd was on hand yesterday for the celebration.
