Over the weekend, crews were dispatched to the bargain center on County Road 400N for a smoke detection alarm called by the alarm company. Upon arrival of the Montgomery Fire Department, it was determined that heavy fire was coming from the building, and additional resources were requested to assist. Seven agencies and nearby departments responded to help control the blaze. Firefighters were on the scene for several hours; the cause of the fire is undetermined. The building and contents were believed to be a total loss.
