An Evansville man was arrested following a high-speed motorcycle chase in Vanderburgh County on Tuesday afternoon. At around 3:10 p.m., Lieutenant Brian Bailey attempted to stop a motorist on Koressel Road for not having a registration plate. The rider, identified as 22-year-old Owen Christopher King, fled, reaching speeds of 85 mph and ignoring a stop sign at Marx Road. After leading police through several county roads, King eventually surrendered in the driveway of a residence on New Harmony Road. He was arrested and taken to the Vanderburgh County Jail, where he is being held without bond on charges of resisting law enforcement with a vehicle.
