Harlem Wizards Fundraiser Game Set for November 1 in Loogootee

4h-3

On November 1, the Harlem Wizards will take on the local “Martin County Marvels” at the Loogootee Gym in a fundraiser for the Martin County 4-H program. This week on WRZR’s Gettin’ In The Know, Dena Held, Director of Purdue Extension in Martin County, explained that the event will help support a variety of 4-H initiatives, including camp fees, transportation for trips, and upkeep of the Martin County 4-H Fairgrounds and Event Center. The funds will also cover enrollment fees for 4-H members. The Wizards’ event is expected to draw a large crowd, with tickets ranging from $10 for general seating to $35 for a courtside experience. Tickets are available through local committee members and the Purdue Extension office. For more information or to purchase tickets, contact the Purdue Extension office or visit the Harlem Wizards’ website. Listen to the full interview with Dena Held this Sunday morning at 8:30 am on WRZR 94.5 Gettin’ in the Know with Greg Bateman.
