Couple of area high school basketball players signed letters of intent to extend their basketball careers. Lady Hatchet Aubrey Frank has signed with Franklin. Frank averaged 7.4 points and 3.2 assists and was 1ste team all Pocket Athletic Conference. And North Knox’s Lexi Primus who averaged 13 points as a sophomore last season signed with Lipscomb.
Golf Regional
Tee times for the golf Regional being held in Montgomery at Country Oaks scheduled for tomorrow. North Daviess go off #10 starting at 8:30 thru 9:10 paired with Boonville and Brownstown. The Washington Hatchets are #1 starting at 9:20 through 10:00 and they are paired with Terre Haute South and Bedford. The Barr-Reeve Vikings tee off #1 from 10:10 – 10:50 and they are playing alongside Castle and Jasper. Top 3 teams and the three low individuals not on an advancing team will compete next Friday and Saturday at Prairie View Golf Club in Carmel for the state title.

The Washington Knight of Columbus is hosting a Soccer Challenge this Sunday from 1-3pm at the Washington Catholic Soccer Fields. This challenge is for Girls & Boys ages 9-14 to potentially advance to state and national competitions.
9, 10, 11 use size #4 ball • 12, 13, 14 use size #5 ball • Age eligibility is determined by the age as of September 1
