Marilyn Lee Cazzell, passed away on Sept 26th at the age of 87. Her final moments were spent peacefully in her home in Vincennes, IN with her husband, Gary at her side. Her life was full of love, laughter, and resilience. She touched the lives of all who knew her. A kind a gentle soul, she consistently put others interests ahead of her own. She was the daughter of Chester and Pauline Pope, from Cass, IN.
She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses her entire life. Her deep love and tremendous faith in her God, and her strong hope for the future, were her most valuable possessions. She was well known for her studiousness for the Bible and her ability to teach Bible truths to others. She was privileged to study the Bible and teach it to many people throughout her life.
She enjoyed observing creation and had a passion for puzzles. Marilyn will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Marilyn’s family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life, not the sadness of her passing. She is survived by her husband Gary Cazzell to whom she was married for 67 years; her three boys, Greg Cazzell, Keith Cazzell and Alan Cazzell and their wives, Terri Cazzell and Mandy Cazzell; her grandchildren, Jeremy Cazzell, Steven Martinez, Amy Letts; her great grandchildren, Ellie Rose, Addison and Kinsley Rea; her sister and brother in law, Carolyn Tubby and Larry Tubby and their daughter, Julie Tubby; her brother in law and sister in law, Roger and Mary Lou Cazzell and their children, Tamera Bolmer, Michael Cazzell , Chad Cazzell.
Services will be held at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 1:00 pm and the family will receive friends there from 10:00 am until the hour of service time of 1:00 pm.  Flowers and memorial gifts are welcome but not necessary.
