Washington Township responded to two separate reports of fires last night. The first call came in around 8:30 p.m. to investigate a blaze at West 300 South and State Road 57. The caller reported large flames up to the trees. A male subject was adding items to the blaze. Firemen advised it was a large campfire and was under control.
The second report came in five minutes later on Oak Grove Road as crews were dispatched to a semi trailer on fire. Insulation was inside the trailer, and crews were able to extinguish the blaze.
