A 10-month investigation by Indiana State Police and the Spencer County Sheriff’s Office led to the arrest of Siddharth Aniker, of Owensboro, KY, on charges of dealing a Schedule I controlled substance. Authorities focused on alleged drug activity at Rebels Marathon gas station in Rockport. On November 1, additional evidence gathered by Master Trooper Trey Lytton and Deputy Zach Polster led to a search warrant for the business, where significant amounts of the controlled substance were found both inside and outside the premises. Aniker was arrested on an outstanding warrant and is currently held at the Spencer County Jail on bond. The investigation is ongoing.
