The North Daviess School Corporation was recently recognized with two badges from the Indiana Grown for Schools Recognition Program, making it the first school in the state to achieve two of the three available honors. North Daviess earned the “Farm Friendly School” badge, given to schools that serve local foods twice monthly, and the “Eat Smart School” badge, awarded for incorporating nutrition and agriculture education programs into the curriculum. North Daviess is working toward receiving the third badge before the end of the school year, joining a select group of only five Indiana schools to receive this recognition.
