Jury Convicts Richard Allen in 2017 Delphi Murders

After nearly 20 hours of deliberation, a jury on Monday convicted Richard Allen on all charges related to the 2017 murders of 14-year-olds Libby German and Abby Williams in Delphi, Indiana. Allen was found guilty of two counts of Murder and two counts of Murder While Committing or Attempting to Commit Kidnapping. Deliberations began last Thursday, continuing through Friday and Saturday, before concluding Monday morning. The verdict was read later that afternoon. Allen faces up to 130 years in prison, with sentencing scheduled for December 20 at 9:00 a.m.
