Progress on the Knox Sports Complex is well underway, with land acquired in August and a series of community fundraising events scheduled for 2025. A land reveal event took place yesterday at the complex’s future site at 1700 South Main Street Road in Vincennes, close to Clark Middle School. The complex will include indoor facilities for tennis, soccer, rock climbing, and more. Fundraising efforts kick off in February 2025 with events like a Valentine’s Day cooking class, a ballroom dance night in April, and a back-to-school kids bash in August. Seasonal fundraisers will also be organized for support. Construction could begin by late 2025, with an opening targeted for 2027.
