On November 7, the Vincennes Police Department investigated multiple reports of individuals claiming to represent a security company and attempting to enter homes to perform security system “upgrades.” After an alert resident provided information, evening shift officers identified the individuals involved. Further investigation confirmed the men were legitimate employees of a Nashville-based security company. The regional manager has since been notified to address their approach with Vincennes residents. The department thanks the public for assisting in the investigation.
