Nearly two years after an armed robbery at the Village Hut convenience store in Fulda, Indiana, David Kenneth Lee, 28, of Indianapolis, has been arrested. On November 11, Indiana State Police conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 80 in Lake County, where Lee was identified and found to have an outstanding Level 3 felony warrant for the Spencer County crime. The robbery occurred on February 12, 2023, when a masked suspect armed with a handgun forced the store clerk to the floor before stealing cash from the register. The suspect fled on foot and was not immediately apprehended. Lee is currently being held on bond as the investigation continues.
