The Daviess County Landfill & Recycling Facility will be closed Thursday, November 28th, and Friday, November 29th for the Thanksgiving Holiday.
All city offices and departments will be closed on Thursday, November 28th, and Friday, November 29th, in observance of Thanksgiving. There will be no trash pick-up. The recycling center will also be closed on these dates as well as Saturday, the 30th. Residents with trash pickup on Thursday are asked to have their trash ready for pickup by 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 27th. Residents with trash pickup on Friday are asked to have their trash ready for pickup by 7:00 a.m. on Monday, December 2nd. Anyone with questions may contact the Street Department at 254-4564.
