Martin County was selected to receive funding from the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority for 50 new one, two, and three bedroom units as well as childcare for low-income families in Loogootee. The investment of $600-thousand dollars from the state will help bring much-needed affordable housing and childcare to Martin County. The funds are from Governor Holcomb’s READI 2.0 program, established in 2021.
