Shooting in Washington Leads to Arrest

On November 29, around 4:45 p.m., Washington Police officers and Daviess County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a shooting at an apartment complex on South Meridian Street. A female victim was transported to the hospital, treated, and later released. Following an investigation led by a Washington Police Department detective and crime scene investigator, 18-year-old Trystan Armstrong of Huntingburg was arrested. He faces charges of Criminal Recklessness with a Deadly Weapon and Battery with a Deadly Weapon.
