Daviess Community Hospital Unveils Expanded Emergency Room in $4M Renovation

Daviess Community Hospital held the ribbon cutting of the newly renovated emergency room yesterday in front of a crowd of distinguished guests and employees yesterday morning. Deron Steiner, the president of the hospital board, told us the hospital has been around for over 100 years, and they look forward to 100 more as they continue to invest in the facility…

Among the guests were Chet and Pat Thompson, generous donors to this latest renovation. Chet shared what the hospital meant to his family…

The renovations made the ER 40 percent larger, going from 9 rooms to 14 rooms, and it includes a new entrance for ambulances. The over 4-million dollar project will help the hospital serve the over 12-thousand patients they see each year.
