INDOT has announced a traffic shift on U.S. 41 in Vanderburgh County starting Thursday, December 19. Southbound traffic between Diamond Avenue and The Lloyd Expressway will move to the northbound lanes to facilitate reconstruction work. Traffic in both directions will be divided by delineators during this phase. Left turns from southbound U.S. 41 will be restricted at Morgan Avenue, Columbia Street, and Virginia Street. Drivers needing to turn left are advised to use the cloverleaf interchange at The Lloyd Expressway. This phase is expected to continue through May 2025, weather permitting.
