On December 18, the FBI Bloomington Office contacted the WPD’s Detective Division regarding a Child Pornography investigation in Washington.
In the early morning hours of Thursday, December 19, WPD Detectives/Patrol Officers, FBI Agents, and the Knox County High Tech Crime Unit served a Search Warrant at a residence on NE 18th St.
As a result, 36 year old Andrew L. Wagler of Washington was arrested on charges of Possession of Child Pornography and Distribution of Child Pornography.
This is an ongoing investigation.
