Paul Stoll, 71, of Montgomery, Indiana, passed away peacefully at his home on December 25, 2024. Born on April 11, 1953, in Jerome, Michigan, Paul was the beloved son of the late Elmo E. and Ida Stoll. He shared a beautiful life with his wife, Dorothy “Dottie” Fields, whom he married on December 1, 1972, celebrating 52 years of marriage.
Paul was a man of many passions, notably his love for singing gospel music, which he and his wife shared with local nursing homes and the homebound, bringing joy to many. His career in auto body repair began as a teenager, and he worked for various companies, with his last employment spanning 15 years at Greene’s Body Shop, where he was a valued employee.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Dottie Stoll, and their children: Matthew Stoll of Montgomery, Jared Stoll of Vincennes, and Chelsea (Taylor) Senne of Shoals. Paul was a proud grandfather to Zack, Keara, Aviana, Austin, Madison, Lyla, and Evelyn, and a great-grandfather to Ivan. His siblings, Clarence Stoll, Oren (Connie) Stoll, Naomi (Steve) Graber, Ruth (John Henry) Knepp, Martha (Wayne) Yoder, and Phil (Lisa) Stoll, also survive him.
He was predeceased by his parents, his siblings Rachel Knepp and Jessie Stoll, and his sister-in-law Marsha Stoll.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at Redemption Christian Church in Loogootee, Indiana with burial to follow in Goodwill Cemetery.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Monday, December 30, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee, Indiana.
