2012 BR graduate Tya Harmon was inducted into the Oakland City University Hall of Fame, and became the first player in school history to have her number retired. At OCU, Tya totaled nearly 1,200 kills, and 1,800 digs, and was both a D-2 and NCCAA All-American player. While at BR, Tya was an All-Conference athlete in three sports, and her Lady Viking volleyball teams were 141-10 during her four year career, including two trips to the IHSAA State Finals.
