A winter storm watch has been issued for the Hoosier State through Monday night. Heavy winter precipitation is expected with a high probability of snow amounts of 6 inches or more and the potential for significant accumulations of sleet and freezing rain across southern portions of central Indiana. From Sunday morning through Monday night, roads, especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. The strong winds and weight of snow on tree limbs may down power lines and could cause sporadic power outages. Residents should be prepared and stay tuned for weather updates on WAMW and WRZR.
