The Indianapolis Colts parted ways with defensive coordinator Gus Bradley after three seasons with the team and multiple underperforming years. During Bradley’s three-year tenure in Indianapolis, the team ranked 28th in scoring defense in 2022, 28th again in 2023 and 24th in 2024
Antonio Pierce fired as Raiders coach after a season that saw a 2 and 2 start only to then lose 10 straight and then a minor rally to finish 4 and 13 on the year. The Raiders will be on their 10th coach in 16 seasons in 2025.
The Chargers are signing running back Ezekiel Elliott, according to multiple reports. Elliott will join the team’s practice squad after the Cowboys waived Elliott last week, giving him a chance to join a playoff team as his career winds down.
The Tennessee Titans have fired general manager Ran Carthon after two seasons, the team announced on Tuesday. Tennessee went 9-25, failed to make the playoffs under Carthon who still had four years left on his contract.
The Washington High School Band will be having their BBQ dinner fundraiser before the Hatchet Game this Friday night against North Knox. The meal will start at 5:30 pm this Friday night in the WHS cafeteria. Tickets will be available at the door.
The Knights of Columbus free throw challenge is coming up on January 12th from 1:00-3:00 pm at the Washington Catholic HS and MS gymnasiums. Girls & Boys ages 9-14 are invited from all area schools. Shooters will compete in their respective age divisions and winners in each age group will receive a trophy and advance to District competition.
