The Daviess County Historical Society will host a special Basketball Memories Roundtable on Sunday, January 26, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Daviess County Museum in Washington. Titled “The Road to State,” this year’s event honors the 50th anniversary of IHSAA-sanctioned girls’ basketball in Daviess County. The program will celebrate players and coaches from the 1975-76 inaugural sectional and the 30th anniversary of the Washington Lady Hatchets’ 1995 state finals run.
