Reba L. Allen, 91, passed away at 7:00 pm on January 13, 2025 at the Villages of Oakridge. Reba was born on June 1, 1933 in Montgomery, IN the daughter of Frank and Camilla (Henry) Myers. She married Clifford Allen on August 30, 1957 and he preceded her in death on August 4, 2010.
Reba was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Santa Fe, NM and worked as an administrative assistant. She owned an antique shop. In her younger years she was a teachers aid at Zuni, NM on the reservation. Reba enjoyed reading and antiques. She was a member of the Sweet Adelines where she would travel the country singing in competitions. She also played the piano for Bethany Christian Church, and the Golden Notes Quartet.
Survivors include her brother, John G. Myers and his wife Ruthann of Washington; sister, Shirley Oetzel and her husband Larry of Louisville, KY; sister-in-law, Zondra Myers of Washington, as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Reba is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Camilla Myers, her husband, Clifford Allen, and her siblings, Ralph Myers and his wife Rosemary, Dan L. Myers and his wife Judy, Dale Wayne Myers and an infant brother, Mark Joseph Myers.
Reba’s wishes were to be cremated and private graveside services will be held at a date to be determined. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is privileged and honored to be entrusted with the care of Reba and her family.
