The Daviess Community Hospital (DCH) Nurse Honor Guard pays tribute to the lives of nurses who have passed away through ceremonies. Led by volunteer nurses, the services include symbolic gestures such as the Florence Nightingale Pledge, a white rose presentation, and a roll call relieving the nurse of their duties. This program, established in 2014, reflects the compassion and dedication of the nursing profession. Families can request the service at no cost, supported by donations and volunteers.
