Katie Lengacher, 85, of Odon, Indiana passed away on Sunday January 26, 2025, at her home.
She was born on August 13, 1939, to the late Fred and Adel (Graber) Wagler.
Katie married Edwin Lengacher on January 27, 1963. He passed away on December 23, 2008. She was a member of the Amish Church.
Katie is preceded in death by her husband and parents, 1 granddaughter Emily Lengacher, 1 great – granddaughter, Hannah Wittmer, sister, Rosie (John) Raber, and brother, Amos Wagler.
She is survived by her children, Roman (Janice) Lengacher of Cannelburg, Randall (Katie) Lengacher of Odon, Darrel (Dorothy) Lengacher of Loogootee, Joyce ( Marvin) Wittmer of Odon, Nathan (Special friend, Jennifer) Lengacher of Loogootee, Barbara Jean (Ronnie) Berry of Loogootee, Edwin Jay (Christina) Lengacher of Loogootee, sisters, Lydia Ann Schwartz, (Louis Wagler -deceased), (Menno Schwartz – deceased), Esther Graber (Ezra), Fannie Knepp (Eli), Louise Hunter (Mike – deceased) Ruth Wagler, Marilyn Wagler (Levi), 22 grandchildren and 47 great- grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday January 28, 2025, at 9:00 A.M at the Daviess County Produce Building in Montgomery. Burial will follow in the Stoll Cemetery.
Visitation will begin on Sunday January 26, 2025, at 3:00 P.M at the Daviess County Produce Building and continue until the time of service.
